Today, on WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY, we unite as a community to celebrate the individuality of people with AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD), to spread understanding, and to raise awareness.
We are reaffirming our commitment to helping people with AUTISM and their families in Osun State, led by his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
Being a spectrum disorder, AUTISM presents itself differently in every person. The necessity of kindness, decency, and inclusivity, however, never changes. We at Osun State embrace the distinctive abilities and viewpoints of people with autism, realizing that variety is our strength.
AUTISM is a diversity that enhances our society, not a barrier. We acknowledge the priceless contributions people with autism make to our communities, places of employment, and other settings.
We can build a more understanding and encouraging atmosphere where people with autism can flourish by promoting inclusion, acceptance, and education.
Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, implores everyone to embrace inclusion and diversity. Together, let’s dismantle obstacles, dispel myths, and guarantee that people with autism have equal access to participation in all facets of life.
We can debunk misconceptions and stereotypes about autism and promote an accepting and supportive culture by educating the public and launching awareness and education campaigns. Let’s celebrate neurodiversity and use each person’s potential despite their uniqueness.
Together, let’s dismantle obstacles to inclusion, provide welcoming environments, and guarantee that people with autism have access to high-quality healthcare, education, and career opportunities.
Let’s renew our commitment today to constructing a more just and inclusive society where people with autism are recognized, cherished, and given the tools they need to succeed.
Let’s honor the abilities, talents, and strengths of people with autism today and every day. We can all work together to create a society that is more accepting and understanding.
