3rd Anniversary: SSG Igbalaye Commends Governor Adeleke’s Impactful Leadership

The Secretary to the Osun State Government, Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye, has joined thousands of citizens at home and in the diaspora in celebrating His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Adeleke on the administration’s third anniversary, applauding the Governor’s dedication to transformational governance and the remarkable progress recorded across the state.

In his goodwill message, the SSG commended Governor Adeleke for steering Osun State with clarity of purpose and exceptional administrative foresight.

Chief Igbalaye noted that in the last three years, Osun has experienced continuous improvements across critical sectors such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, agriculture, technology, and youth development. He emphasized that these achievements have not only strengthened the state’s institutional capacity but have also improved the quality of life for residents.

“Over the past three years, Your Excellency has demonstrated a rare blend of courage, empathy, and strategic governance. The visible transformation in our communities and the renewed hope among our people testify to your dedication to building a prosperous Osun State,” the statement read.

The SSG praised Governor Adeleke’s transparent, inclusive, and people-driven approach to leadership, noting that his administration has continued to deepen public trust by placing the needs of citizens at the center of government decisions.

He further commended the Governor for his resilience and unshaken commitment to workers’ welfare, especially in light of the long-standing challenges surrounding local government allocations. According to him, despite the frustrating saga that has affected local government funding for months, Governor Adeleke has consistently prioritized the wellbeing of local government employees, ensuring that workers, retirees, and the people of Osun continue to feel the positive impact of his people-centered governance.

“Your Excellency has demonstrated exceptional courage and commitment in ensuring that the Local government workforce is not abandoned, even in the face of financial ongoing saga. Your consistency in safeguarding the welfare of our local government staff reflects your deep dedication to fairness, compassion, and responsible governance,” the statement noted.

The SSG also applauded the Governor for championing reforms that have positioned Osun on a path of sustainable growth, ensuring that both urban and rural areas benefit from the administration’s developmental agenda. He noted that the successes of the past three years provide a solid foundation for even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
