The Timi of Ede land, HRM OBA DR. MUNIRUDEEN ADESOLA LAWAL, LAMINISA the 1ST, has felicitated with sons and daughters of Ede land in Nigeria and diaspora on the occasion of Christmas celebration.
The royal father also used the occasion to thank all inhabitants of the ancient town for their resilience and doggedness in the ongoing projects being embarked upon by the Governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke.
This was contained in a press statement signed by his Director of media and Public communication, Dapo Akinyele and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ede.
The revered monarch prayed for the success of the new administration in the state, as he advised the youths of the town and Nigeria at large to shun any act capable of truncating the peaceful atmosphere of their environment.
He also enjoined young people in Ede and it’s environs not to partake in any unnecessary street carnivals that can cause mayhem as prohibited by the police authority in the state.
Oba Laminisa, therefore, prayed for peace and tranquility to reign supreme in his domain.
” I heartily congratulate every Christian faithful in Ede and it’s environs on this special season on Christmas, may the teachings and indelible admonitions of the Lord continue to guide every path.
“As we celebrate, let’s be moderate and orderly to sustain the peace we have been enjoying in our land’, the royal father said.
