Eid-el-fitri: Osun NLC Chair Greets Muslims, Calls For Sustained Devotion to Allah

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the 29, or 30-day-long Ramadan, during which practising Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. The date of Eid-ul-Fitr depends on the sighting of the moon.

Eid-ul-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is one of the most significant Islamic celebrations observed by millions of Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of Ramadan, a sacred month dedicated to fasting, prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth.

The auspicious festival of Eid or Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide with enthusiasm after the holy month of Ramadan ends. The festival marks the end of a month of fasting from dawn to dusk and is a celebration of unity, gratitude, and generosity.

As we bow our heads to pray, on behalf of the Congress (NLC), Osun State, I’m wishing all our Muslim Workers, Pensioners and the entire populace a blessed Eid filled with love, happiness, and success.
