The Timi of Ede land, HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, Oba Dr Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1, has congratulated Muslims in Ede land, as they mark the end of this year holy month of Ramadan
The royal father urged Muslim faithful to imbibe the gains of thirty days fasting and lessons of self discipline and restrain from all forms of social vices as being taught in the holy month of Ramadan as well as reflecting in their conduct henceforth
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Director of media and Public affairs to the Monarch, Dapo Akinyele, a copy which was made available to newsmen on Saturday
Oba Laminisa also used the medium to advise residents of the ancient town to shun all manners of conduct capable of causing unnecessary tension in the town
He further implored them to continue to live and co-habit peacefully and go about their normal duties on unhindered. The revered king also advised his subjects to do away with unfounded rumours, capable of truncating the peaceful atmosphere of the town, as currently enjoy by the residents of the community.
In conclusion, I wish all Muslim Ummah in Ede land Eid-el fitri celebrations.
