As the Aare-Musulumi of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, I felicitate with all Muslims faithful in Ifon-Orolu Kingdom and pilgrims who are Observing their fifth pillar of Islam (Hajj) in Saudi Arabia, a significant milestone in Islam which is Hajj journey. He prayed to Allah to accept their pilgrimage and supplications, urging them to commit Ifon-Orolu Kingdom and Nigeria to Allah’s hands.
I joined the Grand Chief Imam of Orolu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Peter Oluwole Ipadeola Ilufemiloye Akinyooye III, (The Olufon of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom Aremo Obatala of the Universe), League of Imam and Alfa’s and other prominent personalities to congratulate the people of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, particularly Muslims, on the Eid-al-Adha celebrations.
I call on all to offer spiritual, moral and developmental support to the ancient kingdom, encouraging them to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to Allah by making sacrifices towards the development and growth of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom.
Furthermore I expresses the significance of this occasion in which it honors the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his only son, Ismail (AS), in obedience to Allah’s command. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of submission, faith, and selflessness.
As we mark this joyous day, I plead with Muslims and non Muslims to embrace the virtues that Eid al-Adha embodies such as:
Obedience: May our actions be guided by the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Hadith.
Empathy and compassion: May we show kindness and understanding towards all, regardless of differences.
Generosity: May we share our blessings with others, just as Allah has blessed us.
Self-discipline: May we strive to become better versions of ourselves, pleasing to Allah.
As we celebrate Eid-al-Adha, I Aare-Musulumi urged everyone to renew their faith in God and submission to Him, fostering excellent relationships with others, promoting good deeds, and contributing positively to the community’s growth.
I also advised transporters and the general public to prioritize safety and avoid harmful practices that may compromise public safety and health.
Eid Mubarak!
Taqabbalallahu Minna Wa Minkum (May Allah accept from you and us).”
