The Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji, FCA, is set to deliver the maiden edition of the University of Ilesa Distinguished Lecture Series.
The lecture, scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., will hold at the university’s main auditorium. Dr. Adedeji will speak on the topic “Economic Resilience in an Era of Dwindling Revenue.”
The event will be chaired by Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Holdings Limited, while the Executive Governor of Osun State and Visitor to the University, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.
According to a statement signed by Babatunde Fanawopo, Senior Assistant Registrar (Corporate Service and Information Unit), University of Ilesa, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Hon. Gbenga Onigbogi, FCA, will be the Chief Host, and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu, FCA, will be the Host.
The statement added that the event is expected to attract eminent Nigerians from the fields of politics, business, traditional institutions, and academia.
