Gov. Adeleke Is Proactive, Law Abiding And A Strong Supporter of The Judiciary – NBA, Osogbo Chapter

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Osogbo Chapter, has described Governor Ademola Adeleke as proactive, law abiding and a strong supporter of the State judiciary.

This was asserted by the Chairman of the NBA, Osogbo Chapter, Barrister Abiona Olayemi during a courtesy visit paid on the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi in his office.

Barrister Olayemi commended Governor Adeleke for putting judiciary friendly policies in place, saying the step has renewed the hope of the State judiciary.

The legal luminary used the medium to laud Governor Adeleke for appointing Oluomo Kolapo Alimi as the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, noting that he is well endowed with good administrative skills and the capacities needed to run the office.

Speaking further, he applauded Gov. Adeleke for disclosing, without any equivocation, that the State is ripe for the establishment of a Court of Appeal and National Industrial Court and for capturing it in the 2024 budget, adding that his antecedents will continue to linger on in the history of the State.

While giving kudos to Osun Government for its swift intervention and obedience to the rule of law on the State Chief Judge saga, he declared their readiness to always partner the government, emphasising that more intervention is still needed in relation to Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Osun Chapter.

In his reaction, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, thanked the NBA, Osogbo Chapter for acknowledging the impact of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the judiciary and other sectors in the State.

He reiterated the commitment of the State Government to the welfare of public servants and other related matters, maintaining that the executive arm of government is always ready and attentive to everything that concerns people of the State.

The Commissioner assured that the government will continue to collaborate with them, most especially the office of the Attorney General,and the entire Justice Ministry, in order to move the State forward.
