Hon. Olaniran Akanfe Atidade, Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, OSSADEP and OSSADEC, has reinterated the commitment of the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke to revamp the Agricultural sector in Osun State
The Special Adviser made this disclosure today during an interview on a popular radio programme on OSBC, Agbo Oselu.
Hon. Atidade shared insights into the robust agricultural plans spearheaded by Governor Ademola Adeleke. The broadcast provided a platform for Hon. Atidade to elaborate on the various initiatives and programs aimed at bolstering agricultural productivity and food security in Osun State.
Hon. Atidade reflected on Governor Ademola Adeleke’s unwavering commitment to revitalizing the agricultural sector, emphasizing that agriculture remains a cornerstone of the state’s economic agenda. The Governor’s administration has set forth a comprehensive strategy to harness the potential of agriculture to improve livelihoods, enhance food security, and foster sustainable development across the state.
As the rainy season approaches, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has outlined several key initiatives designed to support farmers and optimize agricultural outputs. One of which include sell of seedlings at subsidised rate, provision of fertilisers for farmers.
Hon. Atidade also provided an update on the recent distribution of government palliatives. The distribution process, which was meticulously supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, was executed with a focus on transparency and inclusivity. The palliatives were distributed across all registered associations in the state.
