The Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation (RUWESA), Hon. Lanre Odelade wants Indigenes of Ikoyi home and Diaspora to relive the heroic past of their ancestors and plan for the future of coming generations.
Hon. Odelade who is also the Ashipa of Ikoyi kingdom says maximum support for the Adeleke Administration is necessary for Ikoyi to achieve its desire for optimal progress.
The Special Adviser reiterated the commitment of the state government for effective delivery of democracy dividends with full cooperation of the people.
He charged Indigenes to uphold the tenets of harmony, peaceful co-existence, religious tolerance while placing the larger interest of Ikoyi kingdom above other interests.
He called on high net worth individuals with interest in tourism to invest in developing the Ajagajigi Rock, a massive heritage site in Ikoyi for the much needed economic turn around of Ikoyi and environs.
Hon. Odelade congratulated the Olukoyi of Ikoyi kingdom, Chiefs, elders and leaders of the ancient town for maintaining the equilibrium which has placed Ikoyi in the comfort zone of progress and development.
