Comrade Lekan Adediran, the current Chairman of The Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) Osun State Council and Chairman of Council III of Joint National Public Service Negotiating Council (JNPSNC) of Osun State has been elected as the Chairman of the Osun State Council of JNPSNC (Trade Union Side).
Adediran succeeds Lasun Akindele, of the Nigeria Union of Public Service Reportorial, Secretarial, Data Processors and Allied Workers (NUPSRAW).
The new Chairman of JNPSNC Osun State Council was earlier elected alongside 4 other members of the leadership.
Until his election, Adediran has held many leadership positions within the Labour Movement in the State, he was a member of the caretaker committee that led NLC Osun State Council in the year 2023, member of the year 2024 Osun State Consolidated National Minimum Wage Adjustment Committee, current member of the State Executive Council of the NLC Osun State, just a few from his inexhaustible curriculum vitae with over 15years of experience within the Labour Movement.
Elected with Comrade Lekan Adediran are Comrade Taiwo Ayegoro, NUAAE (Vice Chairman), Comrade Waheed Oyeyemi, NANNM (Secretary), Comrade Christopher Oyinlola, NCSU (Treasurer), and Comrade Stephania Moni Adeniyi, NUPPPPROW (Assistant Secretary).
The electioneering process was supervised by the returning officer, Comrade Gbenga Olowoyo who is the National Secretary of the JNPSNC Trade Union Side.
