Osun Gov’s Wife, Ngozi Adeleke Inaugurates Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programme

First Lady of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke, has launched the first batch of Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programmes of the Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation. She expressed her heartfelt appreciation to God Almighty for the successful inauguration of hairdressing and beauty cosmetology as the First Batch of the Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programme.

In a momentous event attended by dignitaries, Adeleke congratulated the selected beneficiaries and emphasized the Foundation’s commitment not only to imparting skills but also to providing essential working tools and startup capital for all participants. Yeye Soludero of Erinmo-ijesa added other empowerment programme will follow in a not-so-distant future such as Adire making, ICT, Shoemaking, fashion designing, graphic designing, baking and catering, photography, barbing, carpentry, consumables, etc.

A special acknowledgment was extended to Chief (Dr) Mrs Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, Yeyeluwa of Edeland, for her invaluable motherly love, support and presence at the occasion. Mrs Adeleke-Sanni also provided insightful advice to the beneficiaries, emphasizing the importance of dedication to their training programme.

The Royal Father of the Day, HRM Oba (Dr) Michael Odunayo Ajayi JP, Arowotawaya II, the Elerinmo of Erinmo-ijesa, and Alayeluwa Oba (Dr) Akeem Ogungbangbe, Ajagbusi Ekun, Owaloko of Iloko-ijesa, were acknowledged with gratitude. The Commissioner of Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole and other esteemed guests, including the wife of the deputy governor of Osun State, Deaconess (Dr) Olusola Adewusi, were recognised for their contributions.

Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke expressed thanks to Venerable Sam Akinlawon of Vicar All Souls Anglican Church, Okefia, Osogbo, and other individuals, including Barrister Abimbola Babatunde, PDP National Women Parliament, and Yeye Yetunde Odubote, for their support.

Special appreciation was extended to the wives of the Osun State House of Assembly members, Wives of the Commissioners, wives of the local government council chairmen, all the Oloris (Queens) across Osun State, National Council of Women Society, Adeleke Babes, and the dedicated Team Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke.

In conclusion, Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to empowerment and development, assuring continued efforts in pursuit of this mission.

The Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation looks forward to future initiatives and expresses gratitude to all attendees for their support
