Hon. Faseru noted that the administration of Governor Adeleke is committed to make meaningful impact in the lives of Osun farmers as this has nothing to do with the political affiliation.

“Today, we are distributing 50,000 day-old-broiler birds, 7,000 bags of Broiler feeds, drugs and vaccines, under the Osun Broiler Out-grower Production Scheme (OBOPS).

“I want to implore the beneficiaries to make judicious use of this life changing opportunity, by increasing their intakes from time to time.”

Each of them is sponsored to raise two thousand (2,000) day-old broiler birds to table size within six weeks and the cycle will be repeated continuously after the off taker had buy-back from each farmer.

In his short remark, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Niran Akafe Atidade urged the farmers to continue supporting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke. He said more goodies are still coming for the people of the state through many life changing programmes which have been lined up.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Marouf Olawale praised the State government for not relenting in making sure that life became more bearable for the people, most especially, farmers in the State.

He said whats the State Governor in the agricultural sector in the state is unprecedented noting that he takes a man of good conscience who loves his people dearly to do what Governor Adeleke is doing.
