The Olufon Royal Family in Ifon-Osun has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke over the judgement of the Apex Court which validate his election victory.
In a congratulatory message signed by the heads of the royal families described his victory as the will of God and that of the people of Osun who voted for him overwhelmingly in the election.
Part of the statement reads, “On behalf of the entire OLUFON ROYAL FAMILY in Orolu Local Government area, Ifon-Osun hereby extend our warmest congratulations to Your Excellency, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke – The Executive Governor of Osun State on your well deserved victory at the Supreme Court, Abuja. The victory is not only for democracy but affirmation of decision of majority in Osun State.
“We would like to seize this opportunity to call your attention to the need to heal the wounds of Orolu people by ensuring that indigenes of Orolu Local Government are appointed as part of Osun State Executive Council, benefit from infrastructural provisions of your administration and address the major cause of incessant communal clashes between Irepodun and Orolu Local Government areas by reviewing the Osun State official Gazette that wrongly ceded Olufons ancestral land to Irepodun Local Government area. These will translate to stability, peaceful coexistence and economic prosperity in our area and Osun State at large.
“We would like to seize this opportunity to reassure you of our cooperation and support towards successful actualization of your developmental policies. Please accept our heartfelt Congratulations on behalf of the entire Orolu Kingdom.
We are yours for: OLUFON ROYAL FAMILY; IFON-OSUN:
