A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Tijani Oladosu has commended Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for keeping faith with his mandate of deliverying democracy dividends to the people.
Alhaji Oladosu who gave the commendation while addressing party stakeholders in his home town of Oba- Ile noted that, the various development projects completed within one hundred days in office are signposts for progress and complete departure from twelve years of rot and inertia of the APC maladministration.
The PDP Chieftain specifically appreciated Governor Adeleke’s efforts to revamp the moribund Eko – Ende Dam water supply which will ensure uninterrupted water supply to Oba – Ile.
He also noted the recent commissioning of bore holes in Oba – Ile and Oba – Oke as evidence of democracy dividends to the people.
Alhaji Oladosu pleaded with Governor Ademola Adeleke to expedite action on the reconstruction of Dagbolu Oba- Ile road which was constructed by the Akande Administration but was neglected by the APC Government for over twelve years.
He remarks that the neglect of the road has hampered socio- economic activities in Oba- Ile and Oba-Oke,which are food baskets of the state.
Pledging continous loyalty and commitment of indigenes of Oba-Ile and Oba – Oke to the PDP Administration,Alhaji Tijani Oladosu appreciated the massive turn out and endorsement of the people of the two communities of all candidates put forward by the party at every stage of the elections.
