Southwest PDP: See your new appointment as a call to service, Odelade tells Ajisafe

The new Vice Chairman, South West zone of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe has been charged to use his appointment to build bridges of understanding and unity among party members.

This is the high point of a congratulatory message sent to the PDP chieftain, by the special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Rural Water and Enviromental Sanitation Agency RUWESA Chief Lanre Odelade.

Chief Odelade described Alhaji Ajisafe’s appointment as a proof  of his competence for the job and an indication of his commitment to the progress of the party.

Charging the newly appointed  PDP south west vice Chairman to work hard for the electoral success of the party,the Special Adviser RUWESA express optimism that his appointment will birth a new course for the PDP to extend its scope of victory beyond Osun and Oyo states to other states in the south west of Nigeria.

“I have no doubt in your ability to use your competence and experience as a loyal partyman to bear on your current assignment to ensure victory for our party in subsequent elections.”

He called on members of the PDP to rally round the south west vice Chairman to navigate a new path of reconciliation,mobilisation and consolidation of members.

This he noted will  create a unity of purpose and strategies that will repeat the electoral feat which the PDP had in the south west in 2003.

Chief Odelade is confident that Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe’s appointment and the general acceptance it drew from party chieftains and members is a good omen for the Peoples Democratic Party in the south west of Nigeria.
