SSG Igbalaye empowers Osun residents, provides cooperative grants of over N10m

The Imole-Bibire 2 weeks empowerment training has kicked off with participants selected from across the 15 wards in Osogbo Local Government.

The training programme is holding at Osogbo West LCDA, Oke-Arungbo, Osogbo

The empowerment training will FEATURE MAKE UP, GELE MAKING FOR BEGINNERS, MANICURE AND PEDICURE while on the 9th of July, 2024, there will be presentation of equipments and certificates for all trainees.

Other highlights include:

● Distribution of over 45 POS machines with #25,000 startup cash

● Hand pump borehole to be installed in ward 10.

● Motorized borehole in ward 8

● Coperative grants of over 10million naira in Osogbo Local Government.

● Training and purchase of equipments for 30 people across the wards in Osogbo Local for make up, manicure and pedicure.

And registration of 500 people for free health insurance scheme through OHIS across the 15 wards of osogbo local Govt

According to the sponsor of the empowerment training, who doubles as the secretary to Osun State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, the ultimate goal of the programme is to foster sustainable change by empowering individuals with the tools and confidence to shape their own futures and contribute positively to their communities.
