The provision of solid education foundation is very crucial and germane to the development of every child.

The Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education, Hon. Fadipe Ibukun Ishola made this assertion during his maiden meeting with the top management of the agency in Osogbo.

Hon. Ibukun who described himself as a thorough bread politician expressed delight on the warm reception he was accorded by the SUBEB management.

He added that his appointment by Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Executive Chairman of SUBEB was ordained by God.

The new SUBEB boss, during an interactive meeting with the management staff sought for their support so as to raise the bar of Osun State basic education to an enviable height in Nigeria

He urged the management staff to work assiduously towards using their wealth of experience to come up with new ideas that will bring positive changes to the development of basic education in the state.

Responding on behalf of the management staff, the Executive Secretary, Mr Yahaya Bakare thanked and prayed for the new Chairman to succeed in office while also appreciating him on his heart warming expression.

Mr. Bakare assured the Chairman of maximum cooperation from members of staff, saying that they are fully prepared to work towards revamping the state basic education to produce vibrant pupils with quality knowledge.

He charged members of staff to build harmonious working relationship and show total commitment to duty, explaining that it is the only way that the agency could achieve positive and fruitful results.
