Those behind “atunto” in Osun are enemies of progress – SA RUWESA

Osun state government has assured Indigenes and residents of the state on its commitment to their healthy living.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Water Environmental and Sanitation Agency, RUWESA, Chief Olanrewaju Odelade gave the assurance today this while featuring on an Osbc TV weekly Current Affairs Television Programme E GBE YEWO.

Chief Odelade maintained that 332 boreholes sunk by the present administration across the state is an attestation to the commitment of Governor Ademola Adeleke in addressing the problems brought about by non availability of potable water in different parts of the state.

He disclosed that all the boreholes are in good condition with proper mornitoring and support of the agency and communities where the water facilities are located.

Chief Odelade also disclosed arrangements being put in place to kickstart the second phase of the borehole construction across the state.

He advised residents of the state to support the state government in eradicating open defeacation to reduce diseases and epidemics in the state.

Chief Odelade who spoke on recent developments in osun politics described those behind the so called Atunto Osun as enemies of progress of osun state.

The Special Adviser added that the sponsor of the campaign is a frustrated politician bent to use all means to gain cheap popularity.

He called on Osun people to be alert to the antics of cheap characters willing to sacrifice the general interest of the people for their greed and selfish interest.
