THOTH foundation empowers women in Osun with sewing machines

As part of the efforts of The Helper of The Helpless Foundation (THOTH) in making life more bearable for the needy/vulnerable in the society, 10 sewing machines donated to THOTH foundation by Mr. Gbenga Toyosi Olawepo-Hashim, the president/ founder, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim Hashim foundation(GOH) were distributed to 10 women among those who were successfully trained in tailoring at the Thoth foundation skill acquisition training center in osogbo.

Thoth foundation organise empowerment programmes, particularly for women, both old and young from time to time in Osun State and environs.

The recently concluded training for women centred on fashion designing/ tailoring, where women ,most especially, the needy participated, and 10 among these women were given sewing machines and other tools donated to THOTH foundation by Mr Gbenga Toyosi Olawepo-Hashim to assist the trainees in the start up of their business.

According to the director /trustee of THOTH foundation, Hon. Funmilayo Olasehinde said that this activity is part of the mission of the foundation at its establishment by God.
She added that the foundation is founded by God and established in 2015 to stand as a vessel and a point where donors can find a way to reach out to the needy / the vulnerable, and a point for those in need to run to and access helping in the provisions that can turn their lives around positively to become resourceful to the society.

Mr Gbenga Toyosi Olawepo-Hashim is a philanthropist, he donated 10 sewing machines to THOTH foundation and the equipments were distributed to the beneficiaries

Speaking during the ceremony held in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Hon. Olasehinde commended the donor for putting smile on the faces of the people, she prayed that God will continue to bless him the more.

She, however, urged the beneficiaries to see the gesture as a rare opportunity which must not be taken for granted. She admonished them to make good of the equipments.

Hon. Olasehinde assured those who are yet to get theirs to be expectant, saying donors shall deliver more sewing machines to the foundation any moment soon..
