Why Tijani Kawiyu should be considered as our next council boss in Orolu LG

Every politics is local, as the say. This makes me to write this little piece about the person of Hon. Tijani Kawiyu, a one time aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly, to represent the good people of Irepodun/Orolu State constituency.

It was a keenly contested poll, but it pleases God for the present occupier, Hon. Kunle Oladimeji to win the ticket for Orolu/Irepodun State constituence.

For some politicians, once they lose an election, they either leave the party or stay in the party and remain inactive. But in the case of Hon. Kawiyu, he did not leave party neither was he remained inactive. On a daily basis, he kept on spending his hard earned money to finance the party.

Even, those who supposed to take the responsibility of financing the party went into hiding, this enigma kept on spending and bringing more people to join the party.

Some of those who lost one election or the other have been compensated with one position or the other, but for Hon. Kawiyu, he took solace in God and he remained a committed party man.

As the selection for those who will head out local governments begins, it’s important that i reminds our revered leaders and elders in Orolu PDP to consider Hon. Tijani Kawiyu to be our next council chairman. He is well experienced and highly resourceful.

No doubt, our working governor cannot be everywhere at the same time, also he cannot do all he promised the good people of Osun alone, he will need a well grounded and articulate persons to be in charge of our council.

It is on this note i pleads with our leaders to please consider Hon. Tijani Kawiyu for the position of Orolu local government chairman. He is a tested and trusted party man. Let’s put a round peg in a round hole.

Hon. Kawiyu is our sure bet in Orolu local government.
