Let us continue to show genuine love to one another, as perfectly exemplified by the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, by embracing compassion, forgiveness and selflessness in our daily lives, and by extending kindness to all, especially those in need, as we work together for a more peaceful and united society.
Adeyeye acknowledged the resilience, sacrifice and unwavering commitment of electricity workers who, despite harsh economic conditions and operational difficulties, have continued to ensure the stability and functionality of the power sector. He described their dedication as vital to national development and economic growth.
He noted that although Nigerians are presently faced with daunting socio-economic challenges, history has shown that perseverance, unity and collective resolve remain the surest pathways to recovery and progress. According to him, brighter days lie ahead for the nation.
The NUEE president urged workers to remain steadfast, disciplined and hopeful, assuring them that the union would continue to engage relevant stakeholders in advocating for improved welfare, safer working conditions and sustainable reforms in the power sector.
He also called on Nigerians to embrace peace, patience and mutual support, stressing that national rebirth can only be achieved through collective effort and shared responsibility.
